Larken Woodward has been described as an empathetic, connected, attentive confidante who holds your secrets close to her old soul. She radiates a golden glow but there’s an intractable tenacity in the soft blue shadows behind her eyes. Born and raised in the mostly sunny and always colorful city of Malibu, California, Larken found her love for the Arts at a very young age through dance and singing. Her expressive personality blossomed in performance, while her work ethic and ability to endure immense pressure fortified during her many years as a top Junior Tennis Player. Larken’s journey on stage and on the court cultivated a well-rounded person, allowing her to not only create but own her path forward as an actor.
After graduating from the University of Southern California and the Meisner program at Baron Brown Studio, Larken is thrilled to exercise her craft on screen, being cast in major Motion Pictures featuring legends like Bruce Willis and Lily James to Independent Films—granting her SAG-AFTRA eligibility. Larken believes storytelling is the most powerful tool for unifying communities while helping individuals feel supported in navigating life. With that, Larken takes her craft seriously, always striving to learn, improve, and innovate her technique. She continues to be in acting classes weekly, whether a scene study class, improv at UCB, or an Alexander Technique course; her curiosity never stops. Aside from performing, Larken is writing, and her first short film is shooting this fall! When Larken is not performing or writing, she plays tennis, drums to metal music, creates floral arrangements, and even bakes—specifically, perfecting her homemade chocolate chip cookie recipe!
